Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I’ve always been a very easily inspired kid. Especially artistically.
I wanted to sing, dance, write music, be in a band, take photos, paint… I tried all of it! Pretty much a normal kid, I’d say.
I started English classes at a pretty young age. I didn’t love it at first, but as I grew older I found myself liking it more and more. I made lots of friends to practice my English.
I finished high school and started massage therapy classes with my best friend. I couldn’t quite decide what I wanted in life so I quit when I was almost finished with it. After that I was in and out of jobs, one job completely different than the other.
At the age of 24 I decided I needed a BIG change in my life and I went to New Jersey as an exchange student and a nanny. I studied Interior Design, English and Photography. I guess I don’t need to say which one I enjoyed the most.
After two years in New Jersey, my boyfriend from Oklahoma visited me and proposed in front of all my friends. I was super surprised!
So I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and shortly after that we got married. It was the most magical day of my life, it was beautiful and intimate, full of love and happiness. He is my best friend.
Moving to Tulsa was a big change, and it inspired me a lot, especially with photography.
On my first birthday in Tulsa, I got a Canon camera from my sister in law and started taking tons and tons of photos, until I made enough money to upgrade to a better camera. So I did. Again and again until I got to where I am.
I recently fell in love with film photography.
I’m also the co-founder of a handcrafted jewelry line called Culture Tulsa. I am a (attempted) health freak, a workout addict, a cat lover (mostly my own), a traveler at heart, a follower of Christ and of course… a wedding photographer.
I am complicated and very simple, all at the same time. But most importantly… I am… ME.
